Asda has launched a pet partnership with pet product experts Petface, which will see the creation of the ‘Petzone’.
The Petzone will launch in the retailer’s Gateshead, Eastlands, Minworth and West Bridgford stores and will feature a range of Petface toys, treats and accessories for pets.
“This partnership is an amazing opportunity that brings Petface into Asda, creating a dedicated zone where Asda customers can find everything they need on a regular shopping trip,” Petface category director John Pullen said.

Products include stylish collars, leads, balls and cuddly toys, which are all “thoroughly researched and expertly designed” with an emphasis on environmental and sustainable ambitions within its Petface Planet range.
Additionally, Petface prides itself in being multi-award winning pet product experts with over 50 years of developing innovative designs.
“We’re partnering with some brilliant brands to bring a wide range of pet products to these stores – including items that would usually only be found in specialist retailers,” Asda senior director of partnerships and business development Matt Harrison said.
“A rise in the number of pandemic pets has led to demand from customers for greater choice in this particular category.”
Harrison added: “We’re pleased that through partnerships with innovative brands we’re able to offer products for pets of all ages and satisfy the needs of our customers in these five stores.”
