Getir has used its festive marketing campaign to highlight that staff will work on 25 December and “every day this season”.
The $7.7 billion grocery startup is debuting two adverts tonight on ITV and Channel 4, where the main character runs out of chocolates and burns their Christmas pudding.
“But thanks to Getir’s ultra-fast delivery, Christmas is saved!” the company said.
The adverts will air tonight during Tipping Point and Grayson’s Art Club, and will also run on social media and radio.

“We’re excited to share our first-ever Christmas campaign as the nation begins its final countdown towards the big day,” Getir UK marketing boss Nicholas Casby said.
“No matter what goes wrong in the kitchen, or which essentials you’ve forgotten, we’re open every day this season to ensure our customers can enjoy a Christmas worth remembering.”
Gorillas, one of Getir’s key rivals, is also operating every day over the festive period.
Supermarkets will stay shut on Christmas Day, while a number are doing the same on Boxing Day to give workers time off after a “challenging year”.
Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Aldi have said they will keep closed on 26 December.
